The party arrives in Solace in search of Serail, after visting the Inn of the Last Home and solving a murder case in the town, the group discover Serail had just left heading north toward Solmina.
The group decides to rest up before chasing down the crazed old wizard when the town is attacked by legions of dragons and an army belonging to Queen Takhisis the Goddess of Darkness. The party manages to evade the attack and head north to warn the Knights of Solmina.
On their way the party captures a commander from the Army of Takhisis and interrogate him for more information. The party then hold a kangroo court for the prisoner and sentence him to death before heading to the refuge town of Crossing.
